Video gamers can now live out their fantasy dreams with these customized keys

As many of you already know, keys play an important part in our day-to-day activities. We use it to unlock our doors, turn on the engine of our cars, and even use it to open an important compartment or safe. However, we can all agree that many of these keys look (let’s be honest) quite boring. In fact, many of them don’t have the same level of intricacy and detail as the ones we see in our fantasy video games.

Luckily, there’s a chance for us to live out our medieval-like dreams and hero quests with ornate keys that actually work. Thanks to the ingenuity of the Utah-based company Hero’s Armory, our keys can be turned into that of our favorite video game heroes.

Take for instance, this Boss Key design which Legend of Zelda fans may be familiar with.

Or maybe, this key-shaped like Sora’s Kingdom Key from Kingdom Hearts.

These key designs were inspired by nostalgic memories of the creators.

“As kids, we would often dream of fighting evil and saving the world, like our favorite heroes from television, movies & video games. As we got older, we were forced to grow up, but we never forgot those heroes that inspired us! We wanted to create something useful that still reminded us of the stories and characters that we love, and Hero’s Armory was born!” the creators wrote on their website.

At the moment, Hero’s Armory offers a wide variety of key designs to choose from–many of which were inspired by popular video games, movies, and television shows.

These keys can range from 12.99 USD to 19.99 USD (approximately 661.72 PHP to 1,018.30 PHP) depending on the design.
