Woman receives backlash after licking toilet seat for the ‘#CoronavirusChallenge’

With the advancement of social media platforms, anyone can be an online celebrity in just a matter of days or weeks. And to do that, all you need is to find your niche, create relatable content, and let your personality shine through. However, there are self-proclaimed influencers who’d rather do something stupid than helpful for clout, without even thinking about its consequences.

In an article published by New York Post, social media personality Ava Louise drew flak after posting a video of her licking a toilet seat as part of TikTok’s #CoronavirusChallenge.

According to multiple sources, Louise has already appeared on the “Dr. Phil” show twice for her questionable and bizarre acts on social media. Currently, she has 19,000 TikTok followers and 150,000 Instagram followers.

The 22-year-old aspiring influencer posted the 6-second clip on Twitter with a caption that says: Please RT this so people can know how to properly be sanitary on the airplane.”

Since posting, Louise has been receiving a lot of backlash from online users. Some even pointed out that the content is not only disgusting but also insensitive, especially in difficult times like this.

Meanwhile, American columnist Meghan McCain retweeted her post and demanded to, “put her ass in jail!”

In the midst of a pandemic, we don’t need content like this that only do more harm than good. Even if it’s just a 6-seconds of fame, people should always take full responsibility for everything they post online.
