Anime and Cosplay Expo (ACX), now on its 4th year since it started in 2016, has grown from a tiny convention into a spectacle that celebrates what it means to be a fan. Every corner of the event exudes wonderment, excitement and splendor.
The stage erupts with amazing performances with idol group Aidoru Sozai leading the charge, but what makes ACX 2019 truly spectacular is the level at which you can be part of the performances. From the Cosplay Academy by V’s Project that teaches you how to dance with light sticks to contests like Cosplay Karaoke Encore, Cosplay’s Got Talent and Solo Cosplay Catwalk, the activities are sure to highlight the amazing talent of the con-goers themselves.
In fact, ACX 2019 will host TORCH (Tournament of Champions) Reborn 2019 that will serve as the Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival (Gicof) 2019 preliminary qualifier. The winning team of TORCH Reborn 2019 will fly to South Korea to compete against other participating countries as the Philippine representative!
Not a cosplayer yourself? Don’t worry because there are tons of other activities such as Trivia Throne Throwdown where you can test your trivia knowledge, The Scene Zone where you can try to mime your way to greatness or even bag great finds in the Live Auction where you bid for incredible items starting for as low as 1 Peso!
Speaking of great deals, there are more than 40 different booths to choose from with a variety of merchandise from toys and collectibles to adorable anime apparel. Cosplay Star Thames Malrose from Thailand will also be having a Meet and Greet as well as selling his exclusive merchandise.
Mogu Mogu, Lightforce, HKTV and the event’s official payment partner, Paymaya, will also be in attendance, providing stage games, fun activities, great prizes and giveaways.
