It’s only been over a half of the year, and Zendaya has already promoted four projects… with one more left in December!
The year 2026 has been good for the American actress as multiple projects landed her way, some of it being the most anticipated Hollywood movies/series by far.
Zendaya started the year by playing the lead role for the movie ‘The Drama’ with Robert Pattinson. She also starred as Rue Bennett, a drug-addicted teenager and unreliable narrator, in the critically acclaimed HBO psychological drama ‘Euphoria.’
This July, the actress has been promoting two projects—an epic fantasy action film ‘The Odyssey’ and the highly-anticipated ‘Spider Man: Brand New Day’—both with his partner, Tom Holland.
Lastly, she will star in the upcoming American epic space opera film ‘The Dune: Part 3’ with Timothée Chalamet, set to be released in December.
With all the jam-packed project releases, Entertainment Tonight asked the actress about her plans once the promotions ended.
“Oh girl, nothing,” she said. “Just mind my business, you know? And stay to myself. I think sometimes it’s, you know—this is such whirlwind, and you’re kind of like in a new place every second, and your brain is kind of all over the place, and it’s fun and I’m grateful, and I wouldn’t change a thing, but sometimes you need to just, you know, disappear for a little bit.”
Back in April 2026, she also mentioned in an interview with Fandango’s Big Ticket that she plans to take a break after her promotions.
“I hope people don’t get sick of me. After this, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going into hiding for just a little bit,” she said. The actress also added that she’s excited to enjoy some downtime after months of nonstop work.
Aside from her numerous projects, Zendaya made headlines in early 2026 amid rumors that she and Holland had already tied the knot. At the time, neither actor confirmed the speculation, even after an AI-generated photo purporting to show their wedding circulated online.
The rumors were eventually addressed in June 2026 when Holland, in an interview with Esquire, jokingly confirmed that their families had attended the real ceremony.
“So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period,” he said.
