After a three-year hiatus, renowned K-pop boy band BTS, is set to make the biggest comeback ever with a new album.

This highly anticipated return is expected to take place in the first half of 2026 and could significantly benefit their parent company, HYBE. Analysts have predicted that the much-awaited comeback is likely to result in substantial success for the group’s label.
According to Billboard, BTS’ comeback could generate over one billion dollars through concerts, album sales, streaming, and merchandise sales. Their world tour alone might gross around 664 million USD, with an estimated 65 shows and about 60, 000 fans per night.
BTS’ merchandise is also expected to play a huge role in contributing to the group’s success, with products selling out quickly due to high global demand and a dedicated fanbase eager to purchase them.
On October 15, BTS’ members, RM, J-Hope, and V attended the W Korea ‘Love Your W Breast Cancer Awareness’ event, where a lighthearted conversation turned into the biggest spoiler of the year.
In a video that was later deleted by W Korea, RM casually mentioned that he was improving his dancing skills. He added that fans would be able to see the results by the end of March, which sparked immediate speculation about a potential BTS comeback in 2026.
Eagle-eyed fans managed to capture the video and posted it on X.
“We are busy preparing for our comeback. We’ve got jacket photoshoots, MV shoots, and dance practice…Please look forward to the end of March next year,” The BTS leader said.
ARMYs expressed their excitement following RM’s announcement of their comeback in March 2026.
One X user posted “RM casually dropping ‘bts comeback in march 2026’ like we’re supposed to function after that–the kings are really coming home.”
“I have a feeling their comeback will be on the first day of spring,” another fan posted.
Fans are marking their calendars for March 2026 after the accidental hint about the much-awaited event. However, HYBE is yet to make an official announcement on behalf of the group.
