Eleven is missing.
A poster of a “missing teen,” Jane Hopper, famously known as Eleven has drawn frenzy as the official Facebook page of Stranger Things posted a teaser last January 30 for the show’s upcoming fifth season set to premiere this 2025.
Eleven played by Millie Bobby Brown on the show, was sketched on a paper as she allegedly went missing on June 13 of 1986, which precedes the timeline of the show following ‘Stranger Things 4’ which ended last 2022. Much is to be revealed about the next season, but this recent development might just be one of the major giveaways by Netflix and the Duffer brothers, who are the creators and directors of the show.
The post stated, “You’re not ready for what’s to come in Stranger Things 5,” was nowhere near a threat as it further stirred the fans’ anticipation after waiting for almost three years since the many cliffhangers of last season. Seeing how ‘Stranger Things’ has gained a cult following over almost a decade since it first aired back in 2016, expectations are on the line as to how the creators will conclude its fifth and final season.
Hence, fans have started to debrief on social media to debunk any piece of information they can potentially will out of the released poster, with speculations about the release date and which figures within the show are liable for the Hawkins’ missing teen.

So does this mean episode 2 is called The Vanishing of Jane Hopper? Feels like they’re doing some weird switcheroo with Will and Eleven. Are they one and the same?

Whereas, some social media users also expressed their exasperation after waiting for almost three years for season five, saying that they have found it difficult to follow through the show’s storyline given the long stretch of time that elapsed in between seasons.
After Netflix and the Duffer Brothers quite literally turned everyone ‘upside down’ with the teaser poster, avid viewers of the show are at the edge of their seats waiting for the premier of ‘Stranger Things 5.’
Worry not as the Duffer Brothers, in an exclusive event, divulged that 650 hours worth of footage are slated for the finale season covering eight “blockbuster” episodes.
After the last season, where the group of casts filmed in various locations in the quest to solve the mysteries surrounding them, the creators also revealed that they will bring back viewers to where it all started—Hawkins, Indiana. One more thing’s for sure, ‘Stranger Things 5’ is set to make its way back into the screens anytime soon to once for all settle unchained links and unresolved mysteries within and beyond the ‘Upside Down.’
