Mayor Vico Sotto amuses the internet once again with ‘manual transition’ in recent YT video

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has once again captured the internet’s attention with his humorous outro in a recently posted video.

The mayor enumerated the top 10 highlights in the city last year in the said video posted on his YouTube channel.

Kung ang 2024 ay naging year of breakthroughs, ang 2025 naman sa palagay ko ay magiging year of growth [If 2024 was a year of breakthroughs, I think 2025 would be the year of growth],” he stated.

Some of the topics he talked about were the major renovation of the conversion of Pasig City Hope Medical Center, the rise of the Pasig City Sports Program, and the distribution of emergency GO Bag to families to name a few.

Before the video ends, Sotto can be seen moving to the side so as to not block the “Happy New Year” animation in the background.

Social media users then took to social media to share their thoughts about the unique outro with them pointing out that he took the “manual transition” seriously.

One user wrote, “kuhang kuha talaga ni vico yung comedic side ng madla lalo ng millennials cause what is this at bakit tawang tawa ako [Vico really captured the comedic side of the audience, especially the millennials, cause what is this and why am I laughing so hard].”

“Yung ikaw na yung actor, ikaw pa yung director, camerman, lightsman, editor at prod design [When you are the actor, you are the director, cameraman, lightsman, editor and prod design],” a second user wrote.

A third user wrote, “Bago na selpon ni Mayor @VicoSotto pero yung effects nya sa video na itu, very manually pushed to the side HAHAHAHAHAHA [Mayor @VicoSotto’s cellphone is new but the effects in that video are very manually pushed to the side HAHAHAHAHAHA].”

Sotto’s humorous antics on social media have been amusing the internet. After social media users jokingly “roasted” his phone in a Christmas aid video on TikTok, the mayor playfully responded in the comments, stating that he said so many nice things, yet everyone was laughing at his phone.
