Ariana Grande has revealed her plans to release a deluxe version of her album “Eternal Sunshine.”
During the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet, the singer told Access Hollywood revealing that “an attachment” to her previously released record “does exist,” but she’s not sure when it will be released.
“It’s something I’m thinking about but you know, there’s something I made last year that will come out eventually,” she shared upon being asked if new music is “something she’s been thinking about. “It’s an attachment of ‘Eternal Sunshine,’ so that does exist and that will be coming out at some point. But no, I’m not in the studio at the moment.”
The “attachment of ‘Eternal Sunshine’” should not be mistaken with the record’s “Slightly Deluxe” edition, which was released in March of last year. It contained a Troye Sivan feature as well as four more tracks that are not found on the album’s standard edition.
In an episode of the Shut Up Evan podcast released last July, the pop star confirmed that an extended version of her album is on its way but fans would have to wait a little longer for the release.
Grande stated that a deluxe version was “definitely” in the works when questioned about the prospect during her appearance as a guest on Penn Badgley’s Podcrushed podcast. “I definitely thought this album was perfect as it was, and still kind of feel that way,” she stated.
“With time, I’ve been inspired to write more songs and inclined to do this deluxe. I’m really tempted to put a creative button on this storytelling, and I have a lot of ideas,” the singer added.
Ariana Grande lost out on the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture trophy at the Golden Globes 2025 for her role in Wicked. Instead, Zoe Saldana won the Golden Globe for her performance in Emilia Pérez.
Later this year, Grande will star in Wicked: For Good, the sequel to Wicked.
