He even showed ARMYs around his new home, showing them a lavish room complete with a bar, karaoke machine, and other amenities.

During the surprise livestream, the K-pop idol took the opportunity to address an important issue.

Although he delighted fans with the announcement of moving into a new house, he also sincerely asked them to respect his privacy.

Jungkook made it clear to his fans that they should not try to locate his new address or deliver anything to his home.

“I know that news that I moved has already been reported on YouTube, and since I’ve moved, I really hope that no one comes and finds my house,” he stated. “I beg you, please not come. And although I know you mean well, I cannot receive the gifts you sent to my home address, and I have to send them back.”

He stressed that if people really want to send something, they should only write letters to the HYBE office.

“There are also many gifts being sent to the military, and I cannot receive them. When I get a call and see the packages, there is a lot of food, and I cannot accept those either,” he added. “Please try to refrain from sending packages to the military. Although I know you mean well, I beg you not to send them.”

Fans and other social media users took to social media to share their thoughts about the said request on the livestream pointing out the importance of respecting the privacy of artists.

This is not the first time he has brought up this said matter. In a previous Weverse live, while expressing his appreciation for the gift, the K-pop idol firmly requested fans to stop bringing presents to his home.

Jungkook is presently serving in the South Korean military. Along with his fellow band members RM, Jimin, V, and Suga, he enlisted in December of last year and is expected to be discharged by the first half of 2025.
