MrBeast rents out Egypt’s pyramids for his upcoming YouTube video

Content creator MrBeast is reportedly leasing the Great Pyramids of Giza for 100 hours to produce material for his YouTube channel.

He revealed this in an interview with Olympic athlete Noah Lyles on the Beyond the Records podcast.

Even though he hasn’t filmed the video yet, MrBeast stated that he has been given 100 hours of unrestricted access to the pyramids.

“We have access to all three of Egypt’s pyramids for 100 hours. I’m going to make a video where I can explore every part of the pyramids,” he said.

He continued by saying that he and his team would be shown “spending the night inside the pyramids” in the video since they would have them completely to themselves.

In response to a question concerning how he obtained private access and authorization to shoot, he clarified that he collaborated with the Egyptian government.

“I’ve never been inside before. I want to uncover hidden secrets and explore all the rooms, tombs, and similar areas,” he added.

In the video, they will have a guide in certain sections, but MrBeast stressed that his main objective is to show off aspects of the pyramids “that have never been seen by the public.”

The Great Pyramid of Giza, built as a mausoleum for Pharaoh Khufu in 2600 BCE, is the biggest pyramid in Egypt.

Part of a UNESCO World Heritage site is Khufu’s pyramid. In northern Egypt, these pyramids are situated along the Nile River. The three most notable pyramids are the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, each of which was named for the pharaoh for whom it was constructed, though there are at least 118 known pyramids.

These pyramids are popular tourist attractions, and admission to the public is charged. Many of the original treasures are gone because criminals stole all three pyramids in antiquity and the Middle Ages.

MrBeast, whose real name is James Donaldson, is known for his content on YouTube involving intricate challenges and huge giveaways.
