Fans have noticed a hilarious coincidence with Olivia Rodrigo’s scheduled show falling on the same date as another event.
In an episode of After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson, the show’s host shared her story about her upcoming show falling on the same day as another event.
“Don’t you hate when two of your favorite performers have shows on the same night? I try really hard to not do this to my fans but I just found that for my shows in Buffalo on October 4th and 5th, I am in direct competition with Niagara Falls. I know. And we have the exact same fanbase,” Tomlinson stated.
The host then proceeded to mention Olivia Rodrigo who also is in a similar position as her stating, “Well it seems like Olivia Rodrigo had the same problem this week. That’s right. Her Guts tour was in the same building at the same time as the 5th Conference of Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Forum. Ya hate to hear it.”

Comedian Echo Kellum humorously remarked that while Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts tour is making waves, the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Forums have been equally impressive and informative, making it a tough decision on which event to attend.
Upon seeing the said video, fans took to social media to share their quippy thoughts about the said scenario.
One user on X (formerly Twitter) is using this opportunity to sneak in writing, “me attending the 5th conference of belt and road initiative tax administration cooperation forum so i can sneak into the guts world tour next door.”
A Facebook user also is taking advantage of this scenario and wrote, “I bought tickets for Olivia Rodrigo’s concert just so I can sneak into the conference.”
Olivia Rodrigo’s next tour stop after her show in Singapore for her Guts world tour is happening this October 5 here in the Philippines at the Philippine Arena.
