Bruno Major closes Asia Tour 2024 with nothing short of a magical show in Manila

Bruno Major officially wrapped up his Asia Tour 2024 with his second show in Manila last September 11 at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay.

Fans in their formal attire were greeted with a special treat—free postcards from Major himself, which states the lyrics “There’s no life without love they say” from his song “Home.”

With his guitar in hand, the singer kicked off the show with a dramatic performance of “The Show Must Go On” and followed it with “Like Someone in Love.”

Major continued to capture the audience’s attention as he sang crowd favorites “Fair-Weather Friend” and “Wouldn’t Mean a Thing.”

“This is the last show of the whole f–ing tour. Wouldn’t be anything without you, Manila,” Major exclaimed.

Fans were engrossed in the melodies, holding onto every note and word as the act continued with “Regent’s Park,” “The Most Beautiful Thing,” and the poignant songs “Tell Her” and “Home.”

Bruno Major went on to express his sincere gratitude to the Filipino supporters by letting everyone in the crowd know how “welcome” he is every time he visits.

“I’ve always felt very welcome here in the Philippines. I don’t know why you love me here, but I want you to know I’m extremely grateful. I don’t take it for granted. Thank you so much for opening your heart to me and my music. I will do my best to return the favor. I love you very much,” Major said emotionally, to which the crowd responded with a cheer.

Proceeding with the set list, Major dazzled the audience by playing some of his songs on the piano such as “High Road,” “Strange Kind of Beautiful,” and “Just the Same.”

Unexpectedly, he stunned the crowd by performing “Tapestry,” a song that wasn’t originally on the setlist but was requested by a fan via an Instagram message.

He then returned to the main stage for one of the most anticipated performances of the night. Before he started singing “Nothing,” he requested the crowd to turn on their flashlights, making a sea of lights. He said, “I love you, Manila,” before hitting the first note of the love song.

Before leaving the stage, Major played more songs for the audience: “Columbo,” a cover of “Shakey Ground” by The Temptations, and “We Were Never Really Friends.”

The crowd then erupted in chants as Major left the stage, shouting ‘More! More!’ As expected, he came back for his encore set, singing ‘Easily’ and ending the evening with ‘The End.’

The singer thanked Filipino fans once again, with a promise of coming back. “Thank you, thank you. I will come again!,” he stated.

The show certainly concluded Bruno Major’s Asia Tour on a high note. It was more than just a concert—it was a powerful connection between him and his Filipino fans that only they can truly feel and understand.
