Fenix360 media launch: Revolutionizing the entertainment industry

Fenix360, the revolutionary social media platform designed to empower artists and transform the entertainment industry, was officially launched in the Philippines last February 26, 2024 at the Balcony Music House in Makati. Hosted by the charismatic VJ Ai dela Cruz, the event featured a captivating serenade by rising pop star Ica Frias, as well as an enlightening discussion with Allan Klepfisz, the CEO of Fenix360, and Sandy Monteiro, CEO for Fenix360 Asia Pacific.

Allan Klepfisz shed light on the genesis of Fenix360. He revealed, “Phoenix has been in the making for about five or six years, and the impact of COVID-19 was instrumental in perfecting our ideas. Initially conceived to address the unfair revenue distribution in the music industry, we broadened our vision during the pandemic to include all types of artists facing exploitation across various creative domains.”

He continued, “Fenix360’s core objectives are to ensure artists receive a fair share of income, provide them with essential business tools, grant control over their public presentation, and enhance user enjoyment in social media.”

Sandy Monteiro, a veteran in the music industry, shared insights into the challenges artists face in the digital landscape. He stated, “In the digital music industry, nobody was making enough money, and artists were grappling with copyright strikes and insufficient compensation. The existing platforms favored tech companies, leaving artists and record labels struggling.”

The CEO emphasized Fenix360’s mission to create a social media platform where artists can thrive financially, forging a stronger connection between artists and fans. He stated, “Fenix360 is artist-centric and artist-friendly, committed to developing new artists and ensuring their success.”

Copyright strikes are one of the burning issues in the digital era. Sandy Monteiro articulated Fenix360’s approach: “We allow artists to highlight their music videos without directly uploading them. We eliminate the risk of copyright strikes by linking videos from platforms like YouTube, where copyrights are already covered. Our philosophy is artist-friendly, aiming to avoid negative practices seen in some platforms that use copyright strikes to avoid paying artists.”

Sandy passionately addressed the fundamental attitudinal problem within the industry. He stated, “The content creators are expendable, and we don’t need to compensate them properly. At Fenix360, we are obsessive about changing this attitude. Content creators must be well-compensated, and we handle copyright issues on a win-win basis.”

Sandy Monteiro, who has a rich background in the music industry, highlighted his experience advocating for artists’ rights and changing industry norms. Allan Klepfisz, the brilliant person behind Fenix360, spoke about the platform’s inception and the necessity for a revolutionary approach to compensate artists adequately.

The event included a detailed demonstration of Fenix360’s features and tools. Notable aspects include the creation of shareable artist apps, 360 opportunities for artists to generate revenue, and the ability to upload various content types, including photos and videos, without stringent restrictions.

During the interview, Allan Klepfisz revealed Fenix360’s global expansion plans. The platform will launch in Australia, Singapore, India, Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, and the U.S. in the coming months.

The intriguing name choice was explained by Allan Klepfisz, who shared, “The Phoenix symbolizes rising from the ashes, representing our resurgence from previous streaming service challenges. The ‘360’ signifies a full circle encompassing all arts and providing artists a 360-degree opportunity to monetize every aspect of their work.”

Responding to concerns about artist harassment, Sandy Monteiro highlighted Fenix360’s commitment to giving artists control over their relationships with fans. The platform is also exploring the integration of AI to aid artists in music production, providing more tools for creators.

Allan Klepfisz first addressed the choice of launching in Asia, stating, “Asia has a young demographic and is highly engaged in social media. Launching here allows us to gather insights from diverse markets like the Philippines, helping us fine-tune the platform before a global rollout.”

The interview concluded with a sneak peek into Fenix360’s roadmap, revealing the upcoming launches in other countries and continuous improvements based on user feedback. Allan Klepfisz encouraged users to provide input and help shape the platform’s evolution.

Allan expressed gratitude to the Philippines: “Thank you for choosing the Philippines to be one of the first countries to experience Fenix360. Reserve your usernames, create your profiles, and join us in revolutionizing the entertainment industry.”

Fenix360 is poised to redefine the landscape for artists and creators, providing a platform that addresses existing challenges and empowers artists to thrive in the digital era. The global rollout promises exciting developments for the creative community worldwide.
