Two Sophomore students taking up Bachelor of Science in Transportation Management at Polytechnic University of the Philippines were hailed as the Mr. and Ms. Transportation Management 2024. The awarding was held at Tanghalang PUP, College of Communication last January 19, 2024. The title of Mr. TRM 2024 was awarded to Andrew Paolo Pigao, a charismatic individual who not only exuded charm but also displayed a commendable combination of wit and grace. The newly crowned Mr. TRM 2024 stood tall as a symbol of sophistication and charisma.
While the title of Ms. TRM 2024 was bestowed on Kim Capulso, a woman of exceptional poise, intelligence, and beauty. Her presence on stage was magnetic, leaving an indelible impression on the judges and the audience. The newly crowned Ms. TRM 2024 emerged as a role model for aspiring individuals, embodying the essence of grace and confidence. Juniors, Jabril Corpuz and Joy Ann Barrameda sashed as the first runners-up and Ethan Mikhail Ros and Sophie Salasibar got the spot for the 2nd runners-up.
The event was divided into four segments: opening production, casual wear, wear your course, and formal wear. The Wear Your Course segment comes with powerful advocacies related to unresolved transportation issues that show creativity through making a handcrafted costume. This concludes the dedication and excellence of the participants who competed for the coveted titles. Along with the special awards, the program had nominated the best advocacy, best in photogenic, best in casual, best production, and people choice awards.

The contestants, impeccably groomed, radiating confidence and influence, Ethan Mikhail Ros won the special award for Best Advocacy as he stands firm with the jeepney drivers on their fight against the jeepney phase out. Ros emphasizes the importance, and adverse effects of it not just for commuters and jeepney drivers but also for how it can end the symbolic Philippine tradition.
The question-and-answer round, a pivotal moment for the contestants, provided insights into their intellect, confidence, and ability to articulate their thoughts. The responses ranged from thought-provoking to witty, showcasing the contestants’ intelligence and quick thinking under the spotlight.

Whereas the entertainment department stages their voices and talent skills theatrically, other departments, such as technical, secretariat, emcees, production, food, marshalls, and ushers, were able to manage their respective roles in the event. These are the organizers, who are fourth-year college students from PUP BSTRM, who finally paid off the hard work.
