NCT U’s got some ‘Baggy Jeans’ in newest single

The original NCT U unit has come back to slay and serve.

Following their first-ever concert as a full group, NCT 2023 officially welcomes their newest era with their 4th full-length album, “Golden Age” on August 28, 2023 at 6 P.M. KST. The album’s release was preceded by the pre-release of the first of two title tracks, also titled “Golden Age,” on August 23, 2023.

The album consists of 10 songs, with different NCT members coming together as “units” for each song. The album’s second title track, “Baggy Jeans,” is a ‘reunion’ of the NCT U unit that first introduced NCT’s group concept in 2016 with the song, “The 7th Sense.” Other rtacks include ‘Call D,’ ‘PADO,’ ‘The BAT,’ ‘Alley Oop,’ ‘That’s Not Fair,’ ‘Kangaroo,’ ‘Not Your Fault,’ and ‘Interlude: Oasis.’

Consisting of the members Taeyong, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, and Mark, NCT as a whole definitely marked their golden age at this moment. “Baggy Jeans” is described as a hip-hop song with a heavy bass line highlighting the “charismatic vocals” of the members. The lyrics of the song also compare the members’ confidence to the unmistakable charms of baggy jeans.

While most NCTzens have already heard and seen the performance of ‘Baggy Jeans’ from NCT’s concert last Saturday, they all still felt the hype from NCT U’s newest title track.

The B-side tracks from the album received a lot of love from NCTzens, especially after seeing the choreography prepared for it during their concert.

Congratulations to another hit album, NCT!
