Paris Hilton and family spotted frolicking around Hawaii amid fatal wildfires

It looks like Paris Hilton thought she was hotter than wildfires when she was seen on the island of Hawaii over the weekend, without being disturbed by the raging fires at all.

Hilton, along with her husband Carter Reum and their infant son Phoenix, were photographed on the beach in Maui — looking ecstatic— despite the announcement of deadly fires plaguing the island. Based on a report, the billionaire heiress went straight to the luxury resort community of Wailea after their holiday vacation in Greece. The Maui beach, where Hilton and family were spotted, is just 30 miles away from the devastated town of Lahaina.

As a result, the couple was called out for their “insensitive” actions as the wildfires caused 96 fatalities with roughly 1,000 individuals still reported missing. This catastrophe recently broke the historical record and is now considered to be the most fatal U.S. wildfire in more than a century.

Meanwhile, a source told a famous media outlet that Hilton was supposed to be on a planned family vacation.

“It was initially a planned family trip, and she has been traveling to Maui since she was born. She has many friends and family there and it’s a second home for her. Her uncle’s restaurant in Lahaina burned down, so they decided to shorten their trip and go to see their family and help where they could,” a person close to Hilton explained.

The source added that the socialite made significant contributions by donating supplies to local shelters.

However, the Hawaii Tourism Authority already posted an advisory, telling visitors not to visit Hawaii at this time, and to leave Maui as soon as possible, before Hilton’s appearance. The post is as follows:

“In the days and weeks ahead, our collective resources and attention must be focused on the recovery of residents and communities that were forced to evacuate their homes and businesses. Visitors who have travel plans to West Maui in the coming weeks are encouraged to consider rescheduling their travel plans for a later time.”
