Girl in a jacket

P-pop boy group BGYO member, Nate Porcalla, has been trending on Twitter after allegedly cheating on presumed partner singer and dancer AC Bonifacio.

The issue was put forward after a Twitter user (@gelorawrrr) posted their private conversation with Bonifacio talking about Porcalla’s alleged cheating and the group’s alleged possession of firearms and drug use.

In the thread of posts, it is implied that Porcalla has been cheating with a non-showbiz girl named Kirsten during his relationship with Bonifacio.

Kirsten immediately addressed the matter in a post that Bonifacio reposted stating that Porcalla manipulated her into thinking that he was not in a relationship during that time.

“I never liked or dated Nate and I was clearly not interested in him but yes, Nate was constantly messaging me while also fixing things with AC,” she wrote. “You don’t tell girls “I love you” at the same time do you?”

Bonifacio and Porcalla have been speculated to be dating years ago, but both parties didn’t confirm their relationship, with Bonifacio stating in an interview in 2021 that they’re only good friends as they both joined the reality dance competition show Dance Kids Philippines way back in 2015.

They also made headlines early this year after the two unfollowed each other on Instagram despite their closeness, leading people to speculate that something must’ve gone wrong with the two.

Aside from Kirsten, actress Criza Taa was also linked to the issue, which she addressed immediately sharing that she’s never been with Porcalla and had nothing to do with the matter in hand. “I hope we don’t believe whatever we see on social media, especially without proof,” she wrote.

Taa also clarified the root of the issue stating that Porcalla did message her asking to go out but she never entertained him, “I didn’t went cause Nate and I are not even close/friends and I have respect for AC,” she added.

Bonifacio reposted Taa’s post and shared that they’ve talked with each other and they know the “whole truth.”

“And the story he told me was different. I’m glad the truth is out. Girls 4 Girls,” Bonifacio wrote.

So far, Porcalla and his management have not yet released a statement on the matter.
