Some relevant and relatable, while some recycled: 2023’s best RP612 posts

It’s the Philippines’ most important day of the year: the celebration of our Independence Day! And of course, the most appropriate time for the millennials and Gen Z’s favorite pastime: connecting the past and present through the posting of fictional historical accounts with the tag, RP612fic.

With the multitude of events that have happened this year and last, the memes have become better and have somehow become more relatable with more meme-fied and relatable photos arising in the Twitter-verse, although some memes have also been reused.

Not that it’s a bad thing or anything, but maybe, there’ll be more historical events to be taught and then meme-fied in the future?
