It was a remarkable night for the Filipino fans of B.I, Jeon Somi, and Baekhyun as they performed in Manila last June 11, 2023, at Smart Araneta Coliseum for the K-pop Overpass Music Concert.
While waiting for the featured artists, P-POP groups G22 and VXON graced the stage and performed for the audience. At 7 PM, the event’s host, Denise Laurel, officially opened the show, igniting excitement among the fans.
First to captivate the audience was B.I, who prepared an impressive lineup of song performances for his fans, known as ID’s (B.I’s fandom name). These included his renowned tracks such as “BTBT,” “Waterfall,” “TTM,” “Flame Lover,” among others. B.I’s unwavering charisma was so infectious that even those who are not fans couldn’t help but rise to their feet and jump along during his performance.
And of course, true to B.I’s reputation for his incredible fanservice, he did not disappoint. Once again, he delighted his fans by walking down the stage to join them in singing along!
In the final part of his set, B.I filmed a TikTok video with the fans.

Team Pochi girl (as she mentioned her love for the candy, Pochi), Jeon Somi, warmly greeted her fans as she kicked off her performance with the songs “XOXO” and “What You Waiting For.”
During her set, she mentioned her love for eating mangoes in the country and expressed love for the local dish ‘Asado.’ She also delighted the fans by showcasing her Filipino language skills, sharing her favorite word and phrase, which is… ‘Haynako!’
The fans went wild when Jeon Somi went down off stage to meet and greet them up close while singing her song ‘Anymore.’
The best was saved for last, of course.
After four years of anticipation, Baekhyun of EXO finally returned to the Philippine stage. He began his performance with the song ‘UN Village.’
Included in his setlist as well are his other famous songs such as ‘Betcha,’ ‘Candy,’ ‘Love Again,’ and the highly anticipated performance of his new single, ‘Bambi,’ which he performed for the first time ever.
As he was about to conclude his set, what happened next was a complete surprise. Baekhyun made the spontaneous decision to leave the stage and personally serenade his fans, getting up close to see them face-to-face.
Baekhyun closed the concert with a promise that he would return to the country for more performances, including with his group EXO.
The K-pop Overpass Music Concert was made possible by CS Concerts and OctoArts Entertainment.
