“You are the role model all of us girls and women need.”
Drew Barrymore said it herself: Taylor Swift’s music just hits different. Barrymore expressed her admiration for the singer in an Instagram post, after attending her Eras Tour in New Jersey on Sunday, May 28.
“@taylorswift I cried so hard when you sang welcome to NEW YORK. I moved here not knowing where my life was going. And I actually found myself so happy in this chapter,” she wrote in the caption posted on Tuesday, May 30.
Her post includes different photos of Swift and the stage taken in the spot where the actress was standing at MetLife Stadium, along with a photo of herself watching the set with admiration, with her hands clasped underneath her chin.
She continued “I also cried watching my daughters and cousin Sadie watch and love and sing to someone so admirable.”
“YOU. I LOVE YOU TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!!!!! You are the role model all of us girls and women need. Thank you for one of the best nights of our lives. We are so lucky to have seen your show. Your oh so giving 3 hour show,” the Drew Barrymore Show host exclaimed.
Barrymore also mentioned that they listen to Swift’s vinyl every morning to get ready for their day, “You transcend. And make life beautiful. Everyone passing beaded bracelets around. Witnessing the good,” she added.
Barrymore, who is known for her roles on “Charlie’s Angels”, “50 First Dates”, and “E.T.”, is not the only celebrity that watched the show the pop star had over the weekend – Aaron Rodgers, Bradley Cooper, Camila Cabello, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Maren Morris, Mariska Hargitay, Miles Teller, Molly Ringwald, Paul Rudd, Shawn Mendes, and Paul Rudd were also seen at the MetLife Stadium to watch Swift during sets in East Rutherford.
