Snacks and a bottle of wine were helpful for 48-year-old Lillian Ip to survive the five days of being lost in a bushland in Victoria, Australia.
According to a report, the woman found herself at a dead end after she made a wrong turn. Unfortunately, Ip was not able to drive her car after it got trapped in the mud.
The authorities added to a report that Ip remained in her car because of her health issues. She was found 60 kilometers away from the closest town.
Ip was brought to a hospital to be treated after being rescued and was able to return home to Melbourne. When she was stranded, the woman relied on two things to survive: snacks and a bottle of wine. The wine was, in fact, a gift intended for Lillian’s mother.
After being rescued, Ip had only two things in mind that she requested from the police officer: cigarettes and water. She was thankful that the officer she talked to had a cigarette.
In a tweet, Victoria Police showed the video when Ip was rescued in the Mitta Mitta bushland. The woman was seen waving her arms, signaling the rescuers for help.

In another tweet, the Victoria police noted that Ip was in Dartmouth Dam when she later found herself on an impassable part of the road.
According to the report, the woman thought that she would die as her body went down on Friday. Ip added that she was nearly giving up.
By the time she was stranded, she only had a few snacks to eat and a bottle of wine to drink. It was said that she also does not drink alcohol.
The woman’s decision to stay in her car made it easier for the authorities to rescue her.
Out of fear that she would not be rescued, Ip penned a letter telling how much she loves her family.
