Swiftie tries to sell contact lens that ‘saw the Eras Tour’ for approximately Php560k

Remember the song Bejeweled from the 2022 album Midnights? Well, what do you think about the lyric ‘Diamonds in my eyes.’ Well, technically this about eyes, but without the real diamonds.

According to a report, a fan of Taylor Swift, also known as a Swiftie (the fandom name of the artist), was seen listing a pair of contact lens on a clothing sales site Depop. But that pair of contacts were priced like real diamonds.

That pair of contact lens costs $10,000 or more than half a million in Philippine peso. The reason for selling it in that price setting is that it supposedly witnessed Swift’s ‘Eras Tour.’

The seller described the item as ‘used’ and ‘contacts that have seen taylor swift eras tour [sic].’

The listed item was quickly delisted and the owner clarified on their own profile page that the listing was only a joke.

Fans on Twitter poked fun at what the fan did.

One account used an excerpt from the song Daylight, joking about how the pair of contacts witnessed the whole stretch of ‘Eras Tour’

The Eras Tour is the sixth headlining concert tour of the singer-songwriter, and her biggest one yet. The set list consists of 44 tracks from all of her albums or as what we call as ‘different eras.’
