TXT set to perform at Lollapalooza 2023 in Chicago, becomes its first K-pop group headliner

The K-pop boy band TXT makes history once again as they headline this year’s Lollapalooza.

Tomorrow x Together (TXT), a five-member group that is signed under BigHit Entertainment, has been announced as the first K-pop group to headline the Chicago festival. This was confirmed by the organizers on Tuesday, March 21. The group also shared the news on their official Twitter account. Joining them as headliners are Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey, Odeza, The 1975, and Karol G, and The 1975.

In the previous year, TXT made their first official U.S. festival appearance at the same event. It looks like the crowd was big enough to convince the organizers to promote them as headliners this year. Moreover, the K-pop girl group New Jeans will also be joining them at the festival. The rookie group, which has reached surprising heights on the Billboard charts, will perform for the first time in the U.S. at Lolla 2023.

Aside from K-pop, many artists are also scheduled to play at the four-day event, which includes Fred again.., Maggie Rogers, Diplo, Rina Sawayama, Sabrina Carpenter, Lil Yacthy, and so much more.

This year’s Lollapalooza festival will take place from August 3 to 6 at Chicago’s Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois.
