LOOK: K-Pop idols double as global ambassadors of luxury brands

The Hallyu wave is clearly insane. Not only are aspects of Korean culture becoming more and more popular overseas and crossing over to the West, but South Korean celebrities are also taking the fashion scene by storm.

With the popularity of South Korean idol groups and Korean actors rising, luxury brands are also looking towards them to catch more attention and traction in Asia. Esteemed fashion houses such as Dior, Givenchy, and many others have appointed some of our favorite K-Pop idols as their global ambassadors. This only proves that K-Pop isn’t only limited to music anymore, but even extending its influence over to fashion as well.

While it’s not surprising to see the intertwining of music and fashion together in the concepts of K-Pop idols, these personalities just deliver so well that models should really be thanking them for not pursuing modeling at all.

Here’s a list of some K-Pop idols and groups becoming global ambassadors for different luxury fashion houses.
