Every K-Pop act that graces the Philippine stage surely knows how to make their show memorable and special. From their vocals, performances, and exceptional fan service, there’s no doubt why many fans would go home and forever remember the show as the best moment of their lives. For Dream Perfect Regime’s (DPR) first Manila concert, it was that and so much more.
On November 30, the South Korean hip-hop group made their debut on the Philippine stage with “DPR Live in Manila.” With The Filinvest Tent filled with anticipation and thunderous cheers from Filo Dreamers (DPR’s fandom), the crew delivered an electrifying and high-fun performance as part of their “Regime World Tour.”
Excitement is filling the queuing areas of the Filinvest Tent, Alabang as Filipino Dreamers arrive early for DPR’s first concert.

Kicking off the show was no other than DPR Cream, who rocked the stage with his laptop and keyboards. From the get-go, the singer-songwriter and producer warmed up the crowd and managed to make them dance to their feet by playing some sick beats.
If you think the energy of the crowd is high, think again. As soon as DPR Live took the stage and performed “LEGACY” for his act, the venue was filled with seemingly more cheers and screams. The crowd’s lively energy from the first performance continued throughout Live’s whole set. Fans sang their hearts out and cheered to every song Live played, which included “Neon,” “Laputa,” “Venus,” “Kiss Me,” “Jasmine,” “Martini Blue,” and “Text Me.”
At one point in his performance, he conversed with the crowd and revealed shocking information, causing the crowd to erupt in cheers. “I’m not gonna lie, my first crush was a Filipina,” Live shared, to which many fans shouted “Ako na ‘to! (It’s me!)”

Live finished his set by bringing DPR Cline with him on stage to perform “Set It Off.”
Shortly after Live’s performance, the fans were in for a treat when he was followed by DPR Ian. It seems that the South Korean artist knew how to make an entrance as he emerged from behind the black wings placed on the stage.
The venue began to vibrate with more screams when Ian opened his act with “So Beautiful,” followed by “Mood,” “Dope Lovers,” “Miss Understood,” “Avalon,” and “Calico.” He even showed off his dance moves and bass-playing skills!
Fans continued to sing along with Ian every time their favorite track came up. Among the songs included were “1 Shot,” “Scaredy Cat,” “Mr. Insanity,” “Nerves,” and “Ballroom Extravaganza.”
Ian even gave a piece of advice to the crowd, telling them how it’s okay to be scared and to fight for what they love. “If you love something, please fight for it, okay? Life is too short, just please go for it,” Ian said. “And I’ll fight for you, guys.”
For Ian’s last song, he was joined by Live as they performed “No Blueberries” together.
As the two bid goodbye and as the lights went off, the crowd began chanting, “DPR, we gang, gang!” over and over again. The solid cheers and vibrant energy from the audience made the entirety of DPR come out to the stage to give a fist-pounding performance of “To Myself” as their encore. Confetti also exploded in the air as everyone jumped and sang at the top of their lungs.
Before the group exited the stage, they promised the Filo Dreamers that they would be back soon. Just like that, the night ended with a blast.
While the show came to a close, DPR’s first concert in the Philippines will always be remembered by their fans as one of the best nights ever.
