Hello Kitty & Friends Kawaii Festival

SM Supermalls is pleased to announce the partnership with Sanrio Southeast Asia Pte Ltd to launch Hello Kitty & Friends: Kawaii Festival at SM Megamall.  Cherry Blossom is Japan’s national flower and the Japan’s hanami season usually stretches from March to May of each year.  SM Megamall had chosen the Sakura Season, an iconic springtime event as the main theme for this event, in the hope to bring this mesmerizing season closer to the shoppers with the presence of the beloved Sanrio Characters, Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll and Kero Kerokeroppi.

From September 1 – 18, 2022, the SM Megamall atrium will be transformed into a kawaii town depicting classic Japanese settings accompanied by Sakura trees to allow its shoppers to gather and enjoy Hanami which literally means “watching blossoms”.   Made up of a total of 5 zones, each zone will be decorated by a Sanrio Character that is synonymous with fans, young and old alike.
