Her fans were able to get up close and talk to Yerin during the fansign event, where they also used the opportunity to give her gifts, tell her beautiful words, and to tell her how much they appreciate her. Others gave her cans of a local beer that she absolutely loved when she was last here in the Philippines, and some gave her hats and letters that show their love for her.
Yerin considered this fansign event to be an opportunity to meet and reconnect with her fans again after 3 years, and to face them anew as a solo artist under Sublime Artist Agency.
Towards the end of the event, Philippine Buddies organized a fan-video where they collectively thanked Yerin for her hard work and friendship in the past 7 years, and for giving them hope, happiness, and for keeping her promise to come and meet them again.
After watching the video, Yerin thanked all of her fans for the warmth and that she was so happy to finally see them all again after so long.
Yerin debuted as a member of girl group GFriend under Source Music in 2015. In 2021, GFriend disbanded as the girls’ contracts with SouMu reached its end. Yerin later on signed with Sublime Artist Agency in June 2021 as a solo artist and actress.
In May 2022, Yerin officially debuted as a solo artist with her first extended play, “Aria” with the lead single of the same name.
The last time she was in the Philippines was in August 2019, where GFriend held their 2nd Asian Tour, “Go Go GFriend!” at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City.
