‘Attack On Titan’ fans have to wait another year for the series’ finale

Thought you’d get an hour-long finale episode for Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2? Well, you thought wrong. Same here. We’re clowns.

After airing Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Episode 12, MAPPA Co., Ltd. announced the release date of the anime’s final final part on April 4, 2022 with a teaser trailer posted on Twitter and YouTube. The last season will be airing in 2023, the exact date is still unknown.

Fans around the world have been anticipating the animation of the popular manga series’ climax, the Rumbling, since the beginning of the Final Season’s Part 2. MAPPA has been giving god-sent animations and justice to the manga’s crucial moments, with the events from Chapter 118 to 130.

With the animation studio’s announcement of the anime’s grand finale, fans have to wait for another year to see the series’ (painful) end. Reactions to this announcement were a mixture of anticipation, pain, and many other inexplicable emotions.

Welp, we have to wait for another year for Attack On Titan: The Final Season‘s finale then. At least our collective depression as a fandom will be delayed. Lmao. Anyway, better use this time to catch up if you haven’t yet!
