Eastwood City welcomes 2017 with a grand party featuring dazzling spectacles and star-studded performances featuring local and international artists, bands and DJs.
One of the most highly anticipated and longest countdown celebrations in the metro, Eastwood Quezon City New Year Countdown to 2017 promises all out fun with the revelry beginning at 6PM at the Eastwood Mall Open Park, and ending just before dawn at the Fuente Circle at the Eastwood Citywalk.
Headlining the New Year show is Phoebe Ryan, the American Singer-Songwriter whose melodic voice is featured on the hit track “All We Know” by The Chainsmokers. The up and coming recording star has written songs for Britney Spears and has also worked James Young and Kid Ink.
Sharing the stage with Phoebe Ryan are other Filipino bands and performers such as Lenses, Autotelic, Maude, Sud, Up Dharma Down, Broadway sensation Rachelle Ann Go, vocal powerhouse Darren Espanto, and hip-hop artist Quest. Hosting the event, are TV and radio personalities Janeena Chan and Nikko Angelo Ramos.
At 12 midnight, guests are invited to witness the Eastwood City’s annual tradition, the Dazzling Star Drop, which is inspired by the New York City’s ball drop event, followed by the Grand Fireworks display.
The party continues until the early hours of 2017. Guests can head over to nightlife destination Eastwood Fuente Circle and Citywalk 2 and be part of a festive After Party from 11PM to 4AM led by Victor Pring and Marga on the Mic with Manila’s most demand DJs, Marc Marasigan, X Factor, Arra Pascual, and Travis Monsod.
