September 22nd, 2016 – Singapore – Rude Records’ Capsize is now debuting a music video for “The Same Pain” – a song from their latest full-length ‘A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me’. The video can be seen here: hyperurl.co/CapsizeTSP.
“The band went off the grid for a weekend and got a cabin on a mountain to make this video and celebrate the release of the album,” shares Capsize. “We brought along our buddy Johann Arteaga Ramos of Dream Films Los Angeles to film and our longtime friend and photographer Jimmy Sandoval to act in the video. The song is about feeling trapped in selflessness – which to most is a quality that is admired, but it can also put you in a worse position when being there for a person who blatantly takes it for granted. And even though your time may be best spent on something else, you still convince yourself that you’re content in the same pain because of how much you care.”
The Southern California-based post-hardcore outfit also recently revealed an in-depth, personal track-by-track written by vocalist Daniel Wand. The feature can be seen now at AltPress.com, and also features the band’s previously released music videos for “XX (Sew My Eyes)” and “Tear Me Apart (ft. Brendan Murphy from Counterparts)”.
