The Rundown 2022: #MakeAMove

Poised as one of the most critical national elections with the adversities of the pandemic still hounding, the ultimate voice of the Filipino people in the 2022 national polls is definitive of the future we, and the next generations, will be heading to.

Now on its third installment, The Rundown 2022: A Youth-Oriented Senate Elections Forum continues its legacy of organizing an impartial and informative elections forum for the youth and by the youth.

The Rundown 2022

Built on the principle of youth empowerment, The Rundown 2022 anchors itself on the theme, “Youth at the Forefront of Change: Transforming Conversations into Collective Action.” With young Filipinos accounting for more than half of the country’s registered voters for 2022, their votes have the power to spark a paradigm shift in the current Philippine electoral landscape.

For the first time in The Rundown history, this year’s forum will be held online via livestream on The Rundown’s official Facebook page on March 12, 2022, 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. Young voters will be given the chance to interact with the senatorial aspirants in a series of panel discussions and open forums as they tackle the most pressing issues of our times.

This 2022, The Rundown has officially partnered with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). In its previous editions, the elections forum has been endorsed by government agencies such as the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA).
