The dinosaurs are back, and so are the original cast of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World!
On February 10, Universal Pictures released the first full trailer for Jurassic World Dominion. Dubbed as the “epic conclusion to the Jurassic era,” the trailer featured dinosaurs wandering free and two generations uniting for the first time to save the human race from extinction.
The Jurassic World Dominion trailer saw the return of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum—the original cast members of the 1993 film Jurassic Park who will reprise their roles as Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler, and Dr. Ian Malcom, respectively. The trio will team up with Jurassic World duo Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire Dearing.
Set around four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic World Dominion follows the story where humans and dinosaurs are living together. In the trailer, it shows dinosaurs running wild on the mainland, swimming in the ocean, destroying a drive-in movie theater. “Humans and dinosaurs can’t co-exist together. We created an ecological disaster,” says Dern in the trailer.
Shortly after, the following scenes reveal the cast members’ journey to survival as they are “racing toward the extinction of our [human] species.” The trailer ends with the team facing off against a dinosaur, in which Goldblum commented, “Bigger, why do they always have to go bigger?”

Jurrasic World Dominion is produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Cowley.

Speaking with Collider in 2020, Jurassic World trilogy’s producer Marshall mentioned that Jurassic World Dominion will be the “start of a new era,” hinting at a possible Jurassic movie after Jurassic World Dominion. In a recent interview with /Film, when asked about it, the producer responded, “Yeah, absolutely.”
Marshall added, “I think that Jurassic World Dominion’s going to wrap up this trilogy, but we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re going to sit down, and we’re going to see what the future is… We obviously want to make quality, good movies with great storytelling, great writers and directors, but we’re definitely looking to do more in Jurassic world.”
Jurassic World Dominion is set to premiere in theaters on June 10, 2022.
