BTS Jimin recovers from COVID-19 and is discharged from hospital

The collective Army internet is extremely glad over BTS Jimin’s recovery announcement.

In late January, Jimin’s agency, Big Hit Music, reported that the singer went to the hospital after experiencing abdominal pain and a mildly sore throat on January 30. He was then diagnosed with COVID-19 and underwent surgery the following day.

On February 5, only days after the announcement of the singer’s condition, fans were welcomed with good news. An official statement was released saying that BTS member Jimin had finally recovered from COVID-19 and was discharged from the hospital after his surgery for acute appendicitis.

The agency also added that the artist is “quickly healing without any issues” and is currently “recuperating” after being discharged from the hospital.

Upon hearing the announcement, Armys are relieved and overjoyed.

The artist expressed gratitude for concerns and reassured the fans that he was in good condition through a Weverse post.

Jimin is the fourth BTS member to test positive for coronavirus. His co-members RM, Suga, and Jin also caught the virus days after their 4-day long “Permission to Dance On Stage” concert in Los Angeles.

With enough rest, Jimin will surely conquer the stage again.

Jimin, together with other six BTS members, are currently on break and are set to have a live concert in Seoul, Korea in March 2022.
