Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist Lil Nas X has reached a new milestone in life: he has entered the comic book universe and is now a character in the comic book series FAME.
In an official press release by TidalWave Comics on February 1, they revealed that the ‘Old Town Road’ singer is the newest addition to their popular comic book series FAME, which has a title FAME: Lil Nas X. The 22-page comic book biography tells the story of Lil Nas X’s journey—from his childhood experiences to his rise to international stardom.

Lil Nas X rose to prominence when his hit single ‘Old Town Road’ went viral on TikTok. Since then, he has been smashing records and breaking glass ceilings. He was included on the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2020 and named one of the most influential people of 2021 by TIME Magazine.
TidalWave Comics’ publisher and chief Darren G. Davis shared that they “found a niche with our bio comics.” “Our success with this comic shows that there is a much wider audience for sequential storytelling than many thought. These readers are simply looking for something other than superheroes or horror.”
He also added, “With our bio comics, we strive to bring these new readers evenhanded, well-researched looks at some of their favorite celebrities.”
Launched in 2010, FAME is an anthology that features iconic personalities and tells their life stories and career achievements through the years. The series FAME previously featured Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyonce, David Bowie, and Tina Turner, among many celebrities who made a great impact on the world.
The comic book is written by Davis and illustrated by Victor Moura. Joe Phillips also illustrated both the digital comic book and in print cover.
FAME: Lil Nas X is now available on Amazon and can be downloaded on ComiXology, DriveThru, Comics, Google Play, Overdrive, DriveThru, Kindle, Biblioboard, Nook, Kobo, and other eBook outlets.
