Leigh-Anne Pinnock signs a solo deal with new record label

Year ’22 might be the last for Little Mix, but we have come prepared. Leigh-Anne Pinnock signed a solo deal two months after the group announced their hiatus.

The singer has signed a deal with Warner Records, home to artists Dua Lipa, Saweetie, and Ed Sheeran. Warner Records UK welcomed the 30-year old pop star on her solo deal planned for the year ahead.

After Little Mix announced their hiatus last year, there have been plans for the group to embark on solo careers despite the stardom of the pop band, and Pinnock has been the first member to announce her solo plans.

The singer is set to release music with MNEK on her new record. The producer has worked with Little Mix for years and helped the girls craft some of their biggest tracks. However, Pinnock and MNEK are in for a more special surprise for the singer’s new solo career.

Little Mix has conquered the charts as one of the biggest British girl bands to come out since the Spice Girls. The group is famed for winning The X Factor in 2011 and has since received multiple awards for their talent. In December last year, the group announced their long-anticipated “Confetti Tour” would be their last performance before their group goes on hiatus. Members Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall will be wrapping their 2022 tour on May 14.

The girls bid a heartfelt message for the Mixers to let them know that they’ll always be in their hearts. “We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more. We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever. See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne, and Perrie x.”

The fans expressed their support for Pinnock and also looked forward to Perrie and Jade’s solo debut.

Fans are anticipating the rise of Pinnock’s solo career, especially for her successful work on the festive movie Boxing Day where she sang solo songs for the film’s soundtrack.
