Girl Group VIVIZ with former GFriend members set to debut in February

Finally, former GFriend members SinB, Eunha, and Umji will be re-debuting as VIVIZ soon!

Big Planet Made (BPM Entertainment), VIVIZ’s agency, announced the girl group’s plans and schedule for their debut. According to their statement, VIVIZ is planning to debut in February. The 3-member girl group was introduced back in October 2021, complete with their official profile photos and social media accounts.

The name “VIVIZ” is short for “VIVId dayZ”, meaning that they will be artists who will confidently showcase their colors to the world. The name is also a play on the members’ names—SinB and Eunha share the same first name ‘Eun Bi’ with ‘Bi’ being pronounced as ‘Vi’ in Korean, while ‘Ji’ in ‘Umji’ is pronounced as ‘Z’ in Korean.

SinB, Eunha, and Umji aren’t the only former GFriend members making moves in the Korean entertainment industry. Soon after their disbandment last May 2021, Sowon and Yerin signed with IOK Company and Sublime Artist Agency respectively as actresses. Yuju will soon debut as a solo artist under KONNECT Entertainment on January 18, 2022.

Fans of the girl group were ecstatic to hear news about VIVIZ’s much-anticipated debut. Others have even called it a “comeback” instead of a “debut.”

Congratulations on your future debut, VIVIZ! Your fans had just been waiting for your return to the music scene all this time!
