“OMG WINWIN!”
This has been every NCTzen’s reaction to NCT’s latest teaser film, and for good reason to be honest.
Since the release of NCT 2021’s group picture earlier this month, fans have been accepting the fact that Winwin and Lucas will not be included in this year’s NCT full comeback. But with the group’s latest teaser, fans were treated to a great surprise.
In the past “NCT 2021 YearDream” videos, each featured a set of members from 23-member group. For this film, “NCT 2021 YearDream: Stage 2 – Surfing in our Dreams” film, the members included were Taeil, Chenle, Ten, Xiaojun, Yuta, and (surprisingly) Winwin. The 97-line Chinese member was originally announced to not be participating in the full group’s comeback, due to his acting activities in China.
His sudden appearance in the teaser film brought NCTzens to a full stop. In reaction to his sudden and cute cameo in the film, fans trended “omg winwin” on Twitter. Here are some of their reactions.

Yes, Winwin definitely deserves this “main character” treatment. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing his and Lucas’ eventual comeback with the group. But, let’s all support Winwin’s solo activities in China as well—his acting debut!!
