SEVENTEEN sings of how they want to Rock with You in latest EP release

SEVENTEEN is finally back with the release of their 9th EP “Attacca” and music video for its lead single, “Rock with You” on October 22, 2021 at 1 P.M. KST. This marks their second comeback in 2021, following “Your Choice” back in June 2021 with its lead single “Ready to Love”.

“Rock with You”, as described in Soompi, is “a rock-based track with powerful synthesizer and guitar sounds”. The song sees the participation of member Woozi as a producer and composer, as well as a lyricist with members Vernon and Joshua. The lyrics of the song convey the sincere feelings of love and wanting to be able to do anything for that person you love.

The lead single’s music video sees the members as “bad boys” who are willing to risk their lives just to spend the rest of their life with the person they love, especially in wanting to do anything fun together. SEVENTEEN’s visuals shine through in their MV as they’re set in different back drops and in different fashion styles. The music video also included Filipino captions to the song, if you’re interested.

“Attacca” consists of 7 tracks, all with a hint of rock in their sound. It includes 3 songs from the entire group, “To You”, “Rock with You”, and “Crush”, while the last 4 are songs from each sub-unit and a duet from members Joshua and Vernon. The album had already received a huge amount of reception one day after pre-orders have began, achieving 1.41 million pre-orders in just a day.

Carats were obviously ecstatic in seeing their favorite group’s comeback, expressing all of their feelings on their stan accounts on Twitter.
