ICYMI: Adele just made her music comeback with her newest single, “Easy on Me”.
6 years after her hit song “Hello”, Adele’s feels train is up and running once again, all thanks to her powerful vocals and lyrics oozing with that reminiscent feeling of heartache, sadness, and melancholy. With her upcoming album “30” to be released on November 19th, the British songstress’ newest single is just a snippet of her “ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of her life”.
The single, “Easy on Me”, is an emotional piano ballad filled with nostalgia, regret, and forgiveness—typically Adele-esque in sound. The music video sees Adele leaving a house that’s been “sold” and singing while she drives and music sheets flying in the air. The video was first in black and white and later on bursts into warm-toned colors.
Adele fans all around the world have been highly anticipating Adele’s comeback to music ever since the number “30” started appearing everywhere. Upon the release of “Easy on Me”, fans took to social media to express all of their feelings and emotions after hearing her newest song.
