As part of the Civil Engineering community, the Civil Engineering Society (CES) of De La Salle University- Manila presents its annual academic and research flagship event, “CEFOCUS 2021: ENGINEERING PROFICIENCY SYMPOSIUM.” CEFOCUS 2021 is a two-day event where exceptional and experienced speakers from the academe and industry are featured.
This year’s theme tackles proficiency, which aims to address the issues that hinders both students and professionals alike in progressing within their specific fields of study. The event also intends to recognize and appreciate the role that competence has in the different practices of Civil Engineering. Engineering Proficiency Symposium hopes to inspire Civil Engineers to push past their current abilities and recognize the great potential of their possible contributions to the industry by helping them become aware of innovative and sustainable solutions to modern problems.
CES takes pride in this year’s CE Focus as students from various institutions in the Philippines partake in this flagship event as they listen to some of the top industry professionals, which will tackle timely and significant topics of proficiency in the field of Civil Engineering.
