Piers Morgan’s fixation on Meghan Markle dates back to 2015, when he once publicly adored her on social media — contrary to his notorious hostility towards the former actress.
Their ‘feud’ came to a peak this week as he officially resigned from his post on ‘Good Morning Britain’ after being called out for his insensitive comments on the Duchess’s mental health. Morgan had this to say about Markle’s confession on her suicidal thoughts, ”I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she said, Meghan Markle. I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report.”
Needless to say, viewers and even fellow hosts did not find his remark amusing.

Piers Morgan’s sensational walk-out triggered a discussion online about his rocky history with Meghan Markle. A series of tweets from 2016 have resurfaced where he actually appeared to be a big fan of her. One user even cited a post from the anchor’s son, Spencer Morgan, which reveals that they had a cardboard cut-out of the royal couple in their house.
It’s been speculated that his hatred towards her stems from being ‘ghosted’ by Markle. The two had a civil acquaintanceship when the ‘Suits’ star had messaged Morgan after he followed her and some of her castmates in 2015. Apparently they were communicating regularly but things rapidly died down once she began dating Prince Harry.
Is this borderline ‘obsession’?
He acts like a jealous ex whose been scorned. Did he ever consider the Palace or Harry may have told her to cut him off? Regardless, if it was her choice she has that right to change her mind. All his gushing tweets were too much & prob creeped her out

It seems like he’s just bitter over being cut off from an A-list celebrity.
Morgan previously dubbed Markle as a ‘social climber’ in a 2018 interview on Ireland’s “The Late Late Show.” According to him, he was partly responsible for the couple’s romance as he sent her off in the car that took her to the party where she met Harry.
FYI to men like Piers Morgan, women don’t owe you anything just because you were once nice to them.
