As if the world didn’t already feel like a simulation, in the latest update of our Life_Sim.html, the CIA has a new look for 2021.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is a government bureau of the United States tasked to protect the country’s national security. Sounds like they’re pretty serious right? Which is when the CIA introduced its rebrand for the new year, it came as a shock to everyone that the aesthetic resembled an EDM festival. Looks like the designer had too much fun on Behance.

The agency’s new identity is in line with their goal to attract a younger and more diverse pool of talents. The CIA has a long standing reputation as a more exclusive federal body, with older and predominantly white employees making up its population. This year the CIA hopes to provide more opportunities and encourage those of minority backgrounds to apply.

While it may be a noble effort to try to appeal to the millennial taste, it won’t stop the internet from poking fun at this unusual rebrand.
