Celebrate LGBTQ+ art and pride this May 17 at Things Left Unspoken 2019: Be Free, Be Queer, a benefit concert and art gallery for queer artists at The Chamber Gastro Tavern, Maginhawa, Quezon City, in observance of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOTB).
As a platform for queer visibility, it will be a night for LGBTQ+ artists to freely express themselves and present their art without prejudice and discrimination.
Witness electrifying performances by Huling El Bimbo star Lance Reblando, drag queens Mrs. Tan, Aries Night, Lili Adams, Matimyas and Luka, musician Angelito, and a special performance from Jan Parangat.
LGBTQ+ artists are invited to exhibit and even sell their artworks during the event itself. LGBTQ+ businesses will also be highlighted as safe spaces for the community and promoted to a bigger audience.
Things Left Unspoken is an annual initiative of the University of the Philippines Babaylan as part of the joint efforts of advocacy groups worldwide every IDAHOTB to combat cissexism, heterosexism and other forms of hate.
For P150 (pre-selling) or P200 (door price), you will have one free drink and an unforgettable night of fun, freedom, and love. You’ll also give back to the community as most of the proceeds will be donated to the LGBTQ+ artists.
