Don’t you think Iris’s smile is simply captivating? This lady admitted that she decided to take up dentistry because when she was young, she didn’t have good teeth and her dentist inspired her a lot. Now she wants to do the same for the kids out there.

2. She’s the second woman from France to bring home the crown
France has not won the Miss Universe title since Christiane Martel was crowned in 1953. And this is the third time that France was included in the Top 5 in the pageant competition. Another additional trivia: She’s the first European woman who has officially won the pageant since 1990!

3. She joined the sports competition series Ninja Warriors France
As a sports enthusiast, Iris joined the Ninja Warriors competition in her country but got booted out on the first round when she slipped and fell. She considers it as one of the most embarrassing moments of her life.

4. She’s a certified cat-lover
In her first interview after being crowned the Miss Universe winner, Iris admitted that she owns two cats.

Iris revealed that she loves milk chocolate flavored ice cream, which is perfect when she’s hanging out at the beach with a good book to read.
