Bucket hat fans will soon get a chance to discover H&M’s new collaboration with Kangol, featuring ’90s-style streetwear and accessories featuring the British brand’s iconic kangaroo logo.
Do you remember Kangol? The hip-hop brand has remained low-key in recent years after being just about everywhere in the 1990s.
The streetwear brand is set to be at the forefront this year thanks to fast fashion giant H&M featuring rhythm and blues singer Mabel, who modeled and designed some pieces.
“Kangol is excited to work with H&M and Mabel on this collaboration. The collection perfectly captures the essence of Kangol today, full of fresh updates on streetwear style,” said Hamish Morjaria, head of brand partnerships and licensing at Kangol.
Other than the iconic bucket hats, this 31-piece collection comprises puffer jackets, belt bags and oversized knitwear.
The “Don’t Call Me Ip” songstress designed two pieces herself and inspired the whole collection.
This collaboration will be available starting Sept. 17 on hm.com and select stores worldwide. CC
