WALANG 1WAN9: PUP-COC hosts donation drive for its students

For the first time, PUP – College of Communication (PUP-COC) celebrates its anniversary online—and for a cause. Student organizations, college faculty, and its alumni teamed up in spearheading the college’s 19th founding anniversary event collectively coming up with all sorts offun and interactive activities.

With the theme, “Walang 1wan9,” the college aims to not only bring entertainment, but to act as a fundraising drive as well. Due to unfortunate circumstances caused by the pandemic, a lot of students are incapable of attending online classes because of the lack of gadgets needed.

Through this, PUP-COC aims to help shed light and encourage these students to work hand in hand for their fellows. No student will be left in the dark during these tough times.

Student organizations are currently pushing their projects through their Facebook pages. It stretches out for two weeks, which started last August 17, ending with its grand event on August 28. All of which serves its purpose—details of the donation drive never fail to make an appearance in all the posts.
