Group of jeepney drivers create customized tables perfect for home office and gaming setup

A lot of industries were greatly affected by the outbreak of coronavirus, leaving 45.5 percent of Filipinos unemployed since July. In order to overcome this major setback, a lot of our kababayans have turned to online selling and running deliveries and errands to augment their household income.

Recently, the online business of a group of jeepney drivers from Sampaloc, Manila went viral after gamer/streamer @itsjuanmig posted photos on Facebook. The post featured the custom-made table that her girlfriend ordered for her gaming and Work From Home setup.

According to the post, making customized tables became the drivers’ second gear to earning a decent living since some of them can’t go back to driving yet due to the pandemic and strict quarantine measures.
