Have you ever had that uneasy feeling that someone or something is watching you? Whether it’s a ghost or a deranged individual, you hold on to that uncertainty that you’re not alone in the room. Oftentimes, this strange feeling is just the result of a figment of our imagination. But there are rare occasions when this feeling is actually your gut trying to tell you that you’re in danger.
In this particular story, Tiktok user @reubix_cube had no inkling that someone else was in the room with him. In fact, he kept dancing despite the fact that a “head” suddenly appeared on the stairs.
He captioned the video: “Lmao I’m home alone so I learned a TikTok dance. Love u Doja but what has my life come to?”
The short clip showed him dancing to the Doja song without noticing a head peering out of the staircase. But when the possible apparition noticed he was filming, it immediately hid at the top of the stairs.
When this video was uploaded, a lot of online users were rightfully shocked by what they just saw. Many of them commented on how he should’ve looked behind him to see that he was not alone. Others, however, were not convinced by the video saying that the fact he had to say he was alone in the caption proves that this was just a prank.
The Tiktok user has since posted another video addressing what he feels about seeing the “face” in his video.
“A lot of people are wondering why I’m so calm through all this and the answer is pretty simple–I’m not. I barely slept last night. I’m like… I’m like 99% certain it wasn’t a person, honestly. Because the stairs are loud, I’ll insert a clip [for your reference],” he shared.
The video then shows a cutaway of the staircase where the apparition appeared and how loud the creaks would’ve sounded like if it were a “real person” walking through there.
He then further explains why this video couldn’t have been a hoax, referencing his appearance on the clip.
“And the absolute audacity of some of you guys thinking I’d make a video to go viral–[saying things like] ‘Oh, it’s a joke’ [or] ‘Oh! it’s staged’– when I was looking like that.”
Whether you believe him or not, we’ve got to admit the video is pretty unnerving. So maybe, the next time you start filming, double-check your surroundings for any unwanted guests!
