Six-year-old boy creates realistic drawings of dinosaurs

This POP! Kids entry was submitted by Lourence De Leon. He wanted to share his six-year-old son Nathaniel Lawrence B. De Leon‘s realistic sketches of his favorite dinosaurs.

Speaking to POP!, the father shares: “This is our son, Nathan. At an early age, we’ve already seen his extraordinary talent in drawing–we think that he has a photographic memory [and that] he inherited that from his father. [The reason behind this is because] he watched tutorials on YouTube on how to draw dinosaurs and eventually, he memorized it (the drawing instructions) without having to [re]watch–he was able to draw it by himself without any references. He is fond of dinosaurs and [of] Godzilla. [I think] It started when he watched Jurassic World and Godzilla King of the Monsters, [because] after that he wanted to learn more and more about dinosaurs. We even bought him dinosaur toys and a dinosaur encyclopedia. He [also] watched lots of [videos of] it on YouTube. [In fact,] he even asked me to draw his favorite dinosaur– the Spinasaurus–because he loves dino[saurs] so much.”

Here are a few of Nathan’s drawings:
