Most of us listen to music while cleaning, commuting, working, and studying—given that, the internet has a lot of curated playlists that will surely suit every mood. Whether you’re on a cloud nine or not, just put some music on to make you feel better.
One of the most popular live streams running on Youtube is the “lofi hip hop radio – beats to relax/study to“. The video, which is owned by online user Chilled Cow with 4.39 million subscribers, featured a girl studying beside her cat.
However, live streamers were completely shocked when the video-sharing platform shut down the channel last February 23. Andy Baio, an American technologist and blogger, tweeted that the account was terminated due to “noncompliance on YouTube’s Terms of Service”.
Late last night, YouTube terminated @ChilledCow’s account, ending 548 consecutive days of lofi hip hop radio beats to relax/study to. They just reinstated the account, which will resume streaming at 9pm PT/12am ET tonight. Study Girl lives on! pic.twitter.com/jR376F5RU5

With the help of the online community and Chilled Cow’s appeal request, the account was immediately recovered after a temporary suspension. And just to clear the air, YouTube explained that it was a “mistake” and assured that similar errors won’t happen again in the future.
Thanks for flagging this to us! Our teams confirmed that this was a mistake on our side and your channel has now been reinstated. We’re sorry this happened! We've shared feedback with our review team to prevent similar errors from happening in the future.

As of this writing, the account suspension has been lifted and the “famous study girl” continues to dominate the online video market with thousands of viewers every day.
My account has been unbanned, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the tremendous support, I'm grateful to have such an amazing community🧡I will launch the stream again as soon as possible pic.twitter.com/hcAKB5wXWb
